Healthcare Foundation of Wilson wants a thriving, healthy community. Much of its strength comes from the hard work done by our local nonprofits. Working together is our priority. We hope that these nonprofit programs will help provide support and encouragement to continue doing the work that matters to our community.
Healthcare Foundation of Wilson, United Way of Wilson, and Wilson Forward hosted the first annual Nonprofit Summit. During the event, nonprofit leaders from over 30 organizations shared what their immediate needs are to help their nonprofit flourish. Based on the feedback, each host organization committed to complete tasks provided on the nonprofit wishlist. Let us support the growth and development of your nonprofit.
Space is available for our community partners to learn, network and collaborate towards projects that will improve the health of our community. We have established guidelines for the use of our office space, and will accommodate requests that reflect the availability of the facility and the staff.
A grant listserv membership will be available to local partners to find government and private grant opportunities.
Education and training will be developed for best practices of grant writing and non-profit leaderships.
