NC Center for Nonprofits Membership Scholarship

The Healthcare Foundation of Wilson created a scholarship program that offers financial support to cover the cost of annual organizational membership for the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits (NC Center for Nonprofits)—a statewide network and resource hub dedicated to advancing nonprofit effectiveness and sustainability.

Membership with the NC Center for Nonprofits provides participating nonprofits with a suite of valuable resources, including pro bono professional consultations (legal, accounting, human resources, marketing, and coaching), access to member-only training and webinars, a comprehensive resource library of guides and templates, policy updates and advocacy support, discounted registration for flagship events, and enhanced visibility through the member directory and member logo. These benefits help organizations sharpen their internal practices, expand their leadership capabilities, and better serve their communities.

The scholarship demonstrates the Healthcare Foundation of Wilson’s commitment to building nonprofit capacity as a driver of community health outcomes. The program removes financial barriers for eligible 501(c)(3) organizations to join the NC Center for Nonprofits, ensuring that smaller and resource-limited nonprofits can access the tools, training, and networks necessary to thrive.
